About the Job
As a Construction Services Account Manager (CSAM), you will call on general contractors, interior remodelers, and construction companies. Most commonly, you will sell them a 30-yard roll-off container. You will also sell them a variety of other services, such as port-o-lets, online diversion reporting, recycling services and Green initiatives. We call this job a “HUNTER”, and for good reason. You’re hunting down the new business and closing it. You’re hunting down the new business and closing it, while also managing the accounts that you close (“farming”).

You are someone who not only enjoys meeting new people, but you love finding out what makes them tick. And then, once you’ve befriended them, you want to help them in whatever way you can. You’re motivated to not only achieve your goal, but to exceed it in whatever way possible. You have a relentless, “never say die” attitude and you love a good challenge. And, oh yes, you want to make some money while doing it!

About the Team
You’d be working for a pretty awesome manager, Mike Schultz (feel free to look him up on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mike-schultz-15a75426/) who leads a team of dynamic sales professionals in the construction industry. Mike employs the “work hard, play hard” mentality, but really takes the time to get to know his people on a personal level. It shows based on how much tenure most of his reps have (8 years). He likes to reward people for their efforts. His team broke a revenue record in August, 2017 and was one of the top selling construction teams in 2016.

About our Minimum Requirements
At a minimum, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma or GED (accredited) coupled with 4 years of sales experience. Your sales experience should include 1 year of direct business-to-business sales and phone based business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments.

About our Preferred Requirements
We’d prefer that you have B2B sales experience specifically in a hunter capacity, selling services or equipment to the construction industry. You’ll have accomplishments under your belt, and you should be proud of those – maybe it’s winning a sales contest or exceeding goal for 6 months in a row or being Sales Rep of the Year. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it! Also, you’ll be able to navigate a CRM tool pretty easily – and if it’s Salesforce.com, then we’re in business!
